Join the Maine Coalition for Palestine

The Maine Coalition for Palestine is entirely volunteer run. To start organizing and/or volunteering with the coalition, follow these three steps:

1. Download Element

2. Join the coalition mudroom

3. Attend an orientation & get organizing!

1. Download Element & create an account

Element is the primary communication platform used by the coalition. You can get the app here: Web App | Desktop App | iPhone App | Android App. Note: on mobile, we recommend using "Element Classic" instead of "Element X" as the new version still doesn't support threads.

• It is recommended that you skim the Element user guide while getting started.

2. Join the coalition mudroom

Once you have an account, copy and paste this into your browser's address bar to join the mudroom:

If this step isn't working, email your username (which looks like "@username:matrix.org") to info@coalitionforpalestine.org and we can invite you to the mudroom.

3. Attend an orientation

Once you're in the mudroom, indicate which upcoming online orientation you can attend and join it to become on-boarded as either a volunteer or organizer.
